Cupid Angel Tilda - I Am Roses DT

Hello everyone!!

I have not done a card with Magnolia Tilda for ages, but today I have one ready to be shared. Besides other embellishments on this card, I used several kinds of I Am Roses flowers (this links to which you can find at the bottom of this post).

I have colored the stamped image with distress markers. I've used the dies from Craft Passion, Prima, La-La Land Crafts, C.C.Designs and Technique Tuesday. The base is cut with a Go Kreate die.

Here are some close-ups of the details:

Both of the tags may be pulled out:

The stamped LOVE sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps. By the way, if you haven't heard, the Bunny Zoe online store is about to close, so you can grab there some wonderful Whimsy stamps and dies at 30% discount.

I hope you like my card and the way it's embellished.

Photo House Keepsake Box With a Drawer and an Album

Hello everyone!

Today I'm here with a non-card project post.

I've designed a so-called 'photo house', with two picture frames on the sides (they are covered with the lids in case you don't want others to see the photos), in between the frames there is a storage compartment for anything you would want to put inside. The triangular lid is magnetic. All this construction is on top of the drawer, which holds a simple mini album, suitable for 16 pictures of 3.5" X 5 1/8" size.

The colors vary from time to time because of the different lighting:

I think it can look quite nice on an office table or at home. What do you think?

Here is a video walk-through:

Thanks for stopping by.

Graphic 45 Design Team Audition 2016

Hello everyone!

Yesterday I've got an e-mail from my subscription to 'Graphic 45' blog and my heart started to beat faster when I saw the title: "Announcing the 2016 Graphic 45 Design Team Call". Do I dare?

I have started 'to play with paper' a little more than 3 years ago and I would have never thought back then, that one day I would be creating cards for such amazing companies like La-La Land Crafts, C.C.Designs, LDRS Creative, Mo Manning Digital Pencil, I Am Roses... Today I can say that a few of my dreams already came true and I'm endlessly thrilled and honored.

If I look at my paper crafting journey as a career, I'd say that joining the Graphic 45 Design Team is definitely an aim that I want to achieve, a step on the stair which I want to climb.

During the past few years I've created projects which were not 'card-related' (yes, usually I create a lot of cards for the Design Teams I'm on right now). Some of them featured papers from Graphic 45 and some did not. In this post I would like to cast a retrospective look at several of them.

Almost each one of the projects is accompanied with either a written or a video tutorial, which I absolutely love to create.

I will start from the recent projects and move to the older ones.

My personal pride is a Purse Mini Album. I created it in two sizes and for the smaller version I have a free video tutorial and video overview of the bigger purse album.

Then I have a Vintage Style Suitcase with a Drawer Album. I created it in two versions - one is using plain kraft papers and the second - papers from Prima. I have a free tutorial for this project on my You Tube Channel.

The next is a Suitcase Mini Album which is featuring the Kraft Reflections collection from Graphic45. I have a video walk-through on this album, as well as a video with the instructions on how to create a page like in the album and how to put together the handle.

And a Ticket-Shaped Mini Album, with a tutorial:

One more project featuring Graphic 45 "Time To Celebrate" paper collection is a hexagon box with a set of cards. A tutorial for creating a hexagon box from scratch out of chipboard is available on my You Tube channel.

I also have a video presentation of this set:

The next is Bird Song Mini Album with lots of interactive elements inside. I have a quick flip-through video of it on my You Tube channel.

An additional one is a flip book created with the 'Bird Song' paper collection as well:
You can view the full post about it here and a flip-through video showing how the flip mechanism works here:

And finally, I cannot help sharing my first ever mini album done with the Graphic 45 'Steampunk Spells' papers back in 2013. It's very special to me :)

That must be it. Will hold my breath and keep the fingers crossed now.

Thanks for reading and viewing up to this point :)

Hugs,
Alexandra
