TPC DT - Magnolia Tilda With Many Hearts

Hello lovely people!

Today it's time for a new challenge at Totally Papercrafts Challenge Blog, this time the theme is "Decoupage".
I know, not many of us make cards in this technique, and sometimes it may be very time consuming, however it's very fun and the result is interesting and unusual.

For my card I used a Magnolia stamp, called Tilda With Many Hearts. I decoupaged several of the elements:

After shaping and gluing these down:

Still there was so much work to do and integrate this Tilda in a card... :) hhh
I hope I did ok :)

Copics I used:
Skin: E0000, E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair + Boots: E79, E74, E70, E40
Hearts: R89, R85, R83, R81
Dress: R81, RV00, RV0000; RV85, RV89

Here are the details from the front of the card:

This time I used a lot of die-cut elements! My Big Shot got tired, and me as well :)

The inside decoration looks like this:

The back:

Uff! It's ready!! ;)

Mo's Rory On a Dresser

Hello there!

Today I'm ready to show you a chest of drawers I made.

As a base I used this tutorial, but during the process I decided to make my own changes. I re-enforced all the drawers with the strips of firm paper (cut from a cornflakes box), and also decided to make all the dresser's sides from chipboard (and not from cardstock), hopefully this will prolong the life of the dresser :)
This is how the drawer looked like before an assembly:

I figured that Rory from Mo's Digital Pencil will fit perfectly for this project. I colored her with the following Copics:
Skin: E0000, E00, E21, E11, E13, R20
Hair: E18, E15, E13, E11
Rosette: YG09, YG07, YG01; RV17, RV14, RV13
Shirt: YG09, YG07, YG01
Overall: B06, B04, B02, B01
Shoes: YR24, YR23, YR21, YR20;  T3, T1
Ground: T5, T4, T3, T2, T1 + Blender

So, all the drawers are ready to be filled with anything you want to put there! :)

The tags' place is from the back of the dresser:

More close-ups:

The dimensions of the dresser:
Height: 8,5" (including the oval frame), 5,5" (not including it)
Width: 6,5"
Depth: 3 3/4"
Drawer size: 3" X 3.5" X 1"

I really hope you liked this project!
As usually, it was fun to make something new!

Thanks for visiting!

Envelope NoteBook - Celebrate Joyfully Tiddly Inks

Hello bloggers!

I just wanted to share really quickly an envelope notebook which I made yesterday, inspired by an easy-peasy tutorial from the Gentleman Crafter. To make the notebook I used one of my latest purchases - a wonderful envelope 'W R Memory Keepers' punch board.

My version of the envelope mini isn't as grunge as the original, but I like it that way :)

For the cover I colored a digital Tiddly Inks stamp - "Celebrate Joyfully - Emma".

Here are the colors I used:
Skin: E0000, E00, E21, E11, E13, R20
Hair: E49, E47, E44, E43
Outfit: BV29, BV25, BV23, BV20
Flowers: V09, V06, V04
Grass: YG97, YG94,  YG25,  YG03

Inside the book there are 9 plain white envelopes of different sizes. I decided not to cover them with any patterned paper, but only to add violet strips in order to "connect" them to the notebook cover.

Side view:

On the string closure I added some beads of the matching colors. It was totally fun to create!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

A Tag

Hi there!

It's time for a new challenge at Totally Paper Crafts!! The current theme is "Use your favorite colors". I don't know what about you, and whether you know exactly which colors are your favorite. In craft world it  may actually be a problem to decide, because so many things may depend on a crafter's mood, feelings and even an outside weather :)

I decided "to go with the flow". I took out my Distress Ink Pads and let myself choose a couple of them without going through a long and deep thinking process. After I chose the colors, the idea of what I'll be creating came by itself and after some time working, I ended up with this tag:

Now I wonder, are these my favorite colors or actually the rainy weather outside influenced my color picks :)
Overall, the color combination seems to me pretty fine, although this tag is completely out of the type of projects I usually do. But, hey! Isn't it the purpose of creating? Exploring yourself and finding out different sides of your "talent"? :)

Here are several more close-ups:

On the pictures here, that white gesso chicken wire looks completely white, as I'm looking at right now, but in reality I've applied over it a Vintage Photo ink, so it's not that bright :)

That will be all for today! I hope you'll join the challenge and share with us your projects, in which you use YOUR favorite colors.

Have a wonderful day and thank you so much for stopping by!

1. Anything Goes (with a twist of Vintage) @ 7 Kids Challenge Blog
2. Use piece of Metal @ My Heart Pieces
3. Anything but a Card @ Delightful Challenges
