A Suitcase Box with the G45 'Portrait of a Lady' - for the I Am Roses

Hello everyone!

Today it's my turn to share some inspiration over the I Am Roses Challenge Blog, so besides sharing the project which I prepared for this purpose, I would also like to remind you about the Anything Goes April Challenge and to encourage you submit your creations with the I Am Roses flowers to that challenge too.

Anyway, my project is made with the I Am Roses flowers (the links will appear below), as well as with the beautiful Graphic 45 "Portrait of a Lady" paper.

It is a suitcase-shaped box with a couple of envelopes inside. The box can be used for storing anything at all, and the envelopes are just a finishing touch :))

For cutting the shape of a suitcase (which is a top layer of the box), I've used a Sizzix die - 'Vintage Valise', while the parts of the box itself were created from scratch out of chipboard in the appropriate sizes to match the suitcase base.

Here are some close-ups and more details of the front:

This is how the back looks like:

I've attached a chipboard tag and a metal key on a ball chain to one of the handles:

On my G45 projects I always like to put that signature title. Here I framed it with one of the La-La Land dies:

Initially I wanted to created an album with the tiny envelopes' base, and look where this idea took me. The envelopes are still there though :))) I used only two of them, and just embellished them in the most simple way:

So here are the links to the I Am Roses flowers which I used on this project:

And here is the link to the G45 'Portrait of Lady' collection which includes a lot of yummy items.

A little book card for a gift card - Studio 75.

Hello everyone!

I have a little book card for a gift card, created for the Studio 75 Design Team. It measures 9 X 12.5 cm and a gift card perfectly fits inside.

The book is kept closed with a pink shabby ribbon.

The paper collection which I used is a new one and is called "Rose Avenue" . It is very beautiful and can fit so many occasions, like weddings or birthdays, you could create with it romantic cards and albums, as well as different girly projects.

A little tag for a personal message is held in the pocket on the inside of the front cover.

I used the following Studio 75 products:

The Midnight Masquerade - ATC

Hello there!

I had a little of leftover papers from the "Midnight Masquerade" photo storage box and decided use them for creating a new series of ATC.

So today I am here with nothing elaborate, but a trio of little cards, which nevertheless turned out pretty. They did not have a choice, right!? It's still Graphic 45 :))

Here you can see each one of them closely:

Due to the fact that the colors of the papers are so vibrant, they don't need to be full of details. They really look great as they are.

Making ATCs is a decease, very contagious too :)

Have a nice day and thanks for stopping by.

Graphic45 Midnight Masquerade - Photo Storage Box - Tutorial

Hello dear all!

Today I want to share with you a photo storage box and a tutorial for creating it. The project is quite easy to make and I hope you will enjoy putting it together.

For embellishing the box I have used the paper from the 'Midnight Masquerade' collection by
Graphic 45. The purple colors in this collection are my favorites, so I tried to use a lot of purples :)

For the closure I used an elastic string. I had it in white only, but coloring the elastic with one of my Copics of the matching color solved the problem.

Inside the box there are pockets for either storing the pictures as they are, or mounting them onto photo mats. The maximum size of the picture which will will fit inside the box is 4" x 6":

Graphic 45 products used:
Midnight Masquerade 12X12 Pad
Midnight Masquerade Ephemera Cards

Here is the cutting guide for your reference:
